The aim of the article is to present the tasks performed by the Police in the crisis management process. The article presents the statutory tasks of the Police carried out in various phases of crisis management. A narrow catalog of security threats was identified as a source of crisis situations. Broadly speaking from the Police point of view, based on the internal regulations of the formation, a crisis situation and a crisis event were defined, the basic forms of activities carried out by the Police are presented. The police preventively prevent the emergencies and threats in the public space. A general way of unlocking an object by the Police is presented.
