Objectives:
The aim of this research is to improve the Polish anti-terrorist system, particularly in the sphere of the practical use of the tools (alert degrees /CRPs) offered by the Act of 10 June 2016 on anti-terrorist activities. The research problem was formulated in the form of a question: what impact does the prolonged duration of the alert degree (CRP alert degree) have on the implementation of tasks resulting from the introduction of the alert degree (CRP). The author formulated a hypothesis that the prolonged duration of the Alert State, CRP Alert State, has a negative impact on the implementation of tasks resulting from its introduction.

Material and methods:
The author's own research that contributed to this article was based, in particular, on the literature analysis and critique method and the observation method.

Results:
The article presents instances of the application of Alert States and CRP Alert States since the entry into force of the Anti-Terrorism Act, i.e. from 2 July 2016 to June 2024.

Conclusions:
For the first time, the focus is not on the legal aspect but on the real impact of the prolonged duration of the alert degree on the quality of the tasks related to its introduction.
