ABSTRACT
The implementation of national security policy objectives is to ensure the
security of citizens, the rights and fundamental freedom, democratic order in the
country, as well as to create uninterrupted conditions for civilization and economic
development. Present international security environment is dynamic and often
significantly affects, and even interferes with the constitutional order and security
of citizens. The essence of changes involves shifting the focus from conventional
threats to asymmetric threats. There are new threats in the region due to the
Russian-Ukrainian conflict, a constant threat is international terrorism associated
with cross-border crime, moreover, globalization has brought financial crisis.
Poland is trying to accurately read these processes, interpret and react flexibly. This
effort shall be borne by both the state and the nation.
