University students will take part in the work life as an important element of the work force in the very near future - that is to say, they are going to be the future. For this reason, college students’ perceptions and attitudes about the European Union (EU) and beliefs and attitudes towards full membership in the EU - which is crucial for the future of our country - are very important. In this context, this study aimed to measure attitudes of college students towards Turkey’s membership. A Likert-type scale was used for data collection. The scale consisted of 23 items (19 positive & 4 negative). Data was obtained from 242 Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University students who were selected by a random sampling method. This data was analyzed using one-way ANOVA and t test in terms of variables. Students’ attitudes towards Turkey’s EU membership did not differ significantly (p> 0.05) at socio-economic, prestige and legal system sub-dimensions in terms of gender. However, it was found to be a significant difference between male and female students at the culture dimension. While students’ attitudes did not show a significant difference at prestige, legal system and culture sub-dimensions in terms of variable “having relative in EU countries”, significant difference was found between students having relatives and not at the socio-economic dimension.
